Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Gargantas del Dades
After picking up at the hotel or riad where you are staying, we will head south towards Ouarzazate. On the way we will cross the amazing landscapes of the Atlas by the incredible port of Tizi n’Tichka, 2,260 meters high.
Halfway we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most amazing fortified city of Morocco, set of films like Gladiator or The Kingdom of Heaven. Continuing the route we will arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will see the Kasbah of Taourirt.
Taking the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura, and from here we will cross the Valley of Roses to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will stay.
Day 2: Gargantas del Dades – Gargantas del Todra – Merzouga
After breakfast we will head towards the Dades Valley and cross the incredible Gorges of Todra, where we will stay until lunchtime.
With the replenished energies, we will take Merzouga direction and cross the Jorf palm grove (where the best dates come out) and Erfoud, a small town where you can visit a marble workshop.
Once in Merzouga we will leave the vehicle to enter the desert on the back of a camel in search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif-Tazarine – Valle del Draa – Agdez – Marrakech
If there is something unforgettable in the desert, it is the sunrise. After contemplating this moment we will take the camels again to go to a hotel where we can shower and have breakfast.
Passing the Palmeral de Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (origin of the Alauí dynasty) we will arrive to Alnif, where we will take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range. Amazed by the mountainous landscapes we will arrive at Tazarine (important Berber village), N’kob and, finally, to the Draa Valley and its surprising palm grove.
After crossing the Anti Atlas by the Tizi n Tnifift port (of 1660 meters) we will arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will stop to eat. After lunch we will continue the road to Marrakech.
We will be back at your hotel late-night.
